John's Antique Radios showcases
primarily wood cabinet tube radios, both console and desktop models, dating from
from 1936 to 1941. There is also a 1952 Crosley "Dashboard Model" clock radio in
black bakelite and a pink and black plastic Zenith clock radio from the late '50's. This collection currently focuses mostly on Zenith and Emerson brands, the Emersons having the high-grade cabinets
manufactured specially for them by the Ingraham Cabinet Company of Bristol,
Connecticut.
John's Digital Photos contains photos, some with applied special effects, that John has
taken with his digital camera, and represent photos he feels are some of his
best. He especially likes the photo of Barb and him

on the Corner in Winslow, Arizona¯
. . . nothing particular on their minds. This is a photo that really never
was. Another tourist tried unsuccessfully to take our photo "on the corner", but
just couldn't get it right . . . so John used the cropped image of the two of us
pasted into a long shot of the building and corner statue . . . then erased a
couple of traffic and construction cones, fixed the curb . . . and voila!
. . . a new photo of us just as we wanted.
Barb's Vintage Postcards includes vintage and antique postcard favorites from Barb's
postcard collection. These are original cards dating primarily from the late
1890's to 1930.
